Empowering children and adults with disabilities

Summer 2017

The 2017 Walk, Roll, or Stroll was held on September 10th at Oaks Park and raised over $42,000, with donations still coming in! Sunday was a beautiful day, filled with camp spirit, laughter, fun, and reunions. Thank you to our campers, camper families, summer staff, counselors, Kiwanians, volunteers, and community for joining us, fundraising, and passionately supporting MHKC. We appreciate you all!

A special thanks to the MHKC Staff Infection Band for coming and bringing the popular camp tunes! Thank you to Food Services of America for donating the delicious BBQ lunch, and SW Hills Kiwanis Club for making lunch for over 200 people! Inspire Dance team kicked off the event with an exciting performance, and Desi the Face painter wowed everyone with her skills. Also, thank you to Gia Shaw for providing relaxing massages and Merrie Ross, the talented balloon artist clown!

Thank you to our generous 2017 MHKC Walk, Roll, or Stroll sponsors for helping make Sunday's event possible! Seneca Foods, ProBuild, The Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp Foundation, Self-Determination Resources, Inc., , , , , , Food Services of America, and Vinnie's Pizza.

This event is more than just a “walk.” It helps us raise money so that we can continue to empower children and adults with disabilities.
