The Oregon Lifespan Respite Care Program

Funds to attend camp may be available from county lifespan programs under limited circumstances, depending on the age of the caregiver and other restrictions. Find out about the lifespan program in your county.



American Camp Association

Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp is accredited with the American Camp Association. We have gone through a strict accreditation review and earned a score of 97%. Visit the ACA website and find out what accreditation means for your camper.



Portland Parks and Recreation Disabled Citizens Recreation Department

Residents of Portland may want to check with the Portland Parks and Recreation Department. They offer a Disabled Citizens Recreation program and occasionally use our challenge course for day programs.



Special Olympics

Many of our campers with developmental disabilities enjoy competing in Special Olympics.
